This spot was created digitally from beginning to end. This 3d model of Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather cologne from the Private Blend Collection is accurate down to the millimeter. Attention to detail makes sure that the metallic gold surface is color and texture accurate. This beautiful bottle is full of shape and nuanced textural differences that are brought to life with moving cameras, animated lights and a dramatic score. Tom Ford is known for evocative imagery and making this spot completely in 3d CGI allowed us to easily experiment with camera moves, compositions and lighting schemes. We were able to push boundaries with our camera and light because of how efficiently we were able to experiment. We could see in minutes what might have taken hours or even days worth of experimenting in a physical production environment.
